30 August marks the opening of a group exhibit by students from Dmitry Krymov’s theatre course, entitled “Theatre Begins with a Stick,” curated by Valentina Ostankovich. The exhibit runs from 31 August to 26 November.
On 14 September, “Witout a Dowry (Bezpridannitsa)” premiered at the School of Dramatic Art.
On 3 October, Dmitry Krymov was granted the title of Distinguished Professor at GITIS.
October, 20th, 21st, 22nd - "A Midsummer Night's Drearm (As You Like It)" shown in Taiwan, at the National Taichung Theater. On 21 October, as part of a touring programme, Dmitry Krymov conducts a master class for young directors.
On 1 November, Dmitry Krymov holds a master class as part of the Biennale of Theatrical Art and the exhibit “From K.S. Stanislavsky to L.A. Dodin: Lessons in Directing” at the A.A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum.
On 2 November, Dmitry Krymov hosts two creative meetings at the Volgo-Vyatskiy branch of the National Centre for Contemporary Arts, located in Nizhny Novgorod, in the Arsenal building at the Nizhegorodsky Kremlin.
On 4 November, as part of the All-Russia Cultural and Education Action, #NightoftheArts, Dmitry Krymov hosts a creative meeting at Gogol House.
On 5 November, the Khitrovka Cultural Centre will host a retrospective of the Dmitry Krymov Laboratory’s performances. Three videos from three Laboratory productions will be shown, all created at different times with scenographers from Dmitry Krymov and Evgeny Kamenkovich’s experimental course at GITIS. These shows are: “Katerina’s Dreams,” dir. Dmitry Krymov (2010); “Dido and Aeneas,” dir. Vera Martynov (2011); and “Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka. Cancelled,” dir. Filipp Vinogradov and Aleksey Razmakhov (2013).
On 12 November, “Witout a Dowry (Bezpridannitsa)” was included in the programme of the Stanislavsky Season Festival.
27-29 December, “Romeo and Juliet. Kindersurprise” a co-production between the School of Dramatic Art and GITIS, will premiere.
On 10 April, “Mu-Mu” will premiere at Theatre of Nations.
